EHS Chemical Process Specialist –

We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as EHS Chemical Process Specialist

The EHS Chemical Process Specialist is responsible for implementing their technical expertise with global chemical supply chain management, chemical and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Managing documents for global EHS standards and processes including chemical supply chain.
  • Applying industry standards to ensure compliance with chemical requirements.
  • Support as a subject matter expert in Global chemical and EHS regulations impacting the aerospace, defense, airline, government, pharmaceutica and other target industry verticals.
  • Provide services to meet and exceed every need of your business in adapting regulations and standards for chemical EHS regulations.
  • Determine storage and transport EHS conditions regarding safety, environment and fire risk.
  • Assisting other teams in solving EHS chemical-related queries and conducting trainings.
  • Participation in improvement activities at department level to increase business efficiency.

Requirements

  • Chemical education degree
  • Practical experience in working with chemical substances
  • Experience in emergency procedures management
  • Knowledge of chemical standards, e.g. GHS, Reach, IATA, ADR, DOT, NFPA will be an asset
  • EHS knowledge will be an asset
  • Very good command of English
  • Communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and good time management
  • Relationship-building skills
