Salary: From *GBP*31,106.33 (unqualified) – *GBP*37,870.56 (qualified Level 5 teaching and above). Depending on qualifications and expertise.

Our thriving Food Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef Lecturer to join our team at the Watford Campus. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to teach and mentor students across Levels 1 to 3 in both Practical Cookery and Culinary Theory, including food safety, health & safety, nutrition, and employability skills. You’ll play a key role in shaping future professionals for the fast-paced hospitality industry. You’ll also be responsible for running our College Training Restaurant, delivering real-world experience to students during lunchtime and one evening per week during term time. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who: <ul class="customHTML"> <li class="customHTML">Has at least 5 years’ experience in the catering industry, ideally in a restaurant setting.</li> <li class="customHTML">Holds a Level 3 Professional Chefs qualification.</li> <li class="customHTML">Is enthusiastic about teaching and supporting learners of all abilities.</li> <li class="customHTML">Has a strong understanding of culinary theory and practical cookery.</li> <li class="customHTML">Is committed to high standards of assessment and feedback.</li> <li class="customHTML">Ideally holds a teaching qualification (training and mentoring available if not).</li> <li class="customHTML">Has experience in personal tutoring, target setting, and Functional Skills delivery (desirable).</li> </ul> Why Join Us?
