The Legal Governance and Risk Control Process Outsourcing (LPO) Lead is a Senior leadership role responsible for driving the overall strategy, growth, and performance of LPO services within the organization. This position serves as the primary executive liaison for key clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring delivery excellence, revenue optimization, and strategic alignment with business objectives. The Account Executive oversees multiple engagement managers and leads initiatives that enhance client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.  You will support our clients through large scale transformation projects and been seen as a transformation / transition subject matter expert.

 

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

Strategic Leadership: 

  • Define and execute the vision and roadmap for LPO services across accounts.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand service offerings and client relationships.
  • Ensure alignment of legal operations with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the senior point of contact for executive-level client interactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth and service improvement.

Operational Oversight:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Legal, Risk, Audit Engagement Managers and their teams.
  • Monitor performance metrics, financial targets, and contractual obligations across engagements.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and continuous improvement in LPO delivery.

Risk and Compliance:

  • Oversee risk management strategies related to legal, regulatory, risk operations and contractual commitments.
  • Escalate critical issues and opportunities to senior leadership and ensure timely resolution.

Thought Leadership and Innovation:

  • Champion initiatives to streamline processes, leverage technology, and enhance efficiency.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and contribute to shaping legal outsourcing trends.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale legal operations and manage complex client portfolios.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in contract management, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for executive-level engagement.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth and operational excellence.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Proven experience in large scale transformtion programmes. 

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in legal operations, risk, audit, contract management, or LPO leadership roles.
  • Industry cross functional knowledge, regulated industry being a plus
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-million-dollar accounts and global teams.
  • Proficiency in legal technology platforms and advanced MS Office skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
