Stadium Access Manager – Anfield Stadium
Job Introduction
Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are recruiting a Stadium Access Manager to lead the planning, delivery and management of stadium access operations. This includes oversight of car parks, accreditation processes and the match day Fan Support team, ensuring safe, secure and efficient access for all supporters, staff and stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and manage all stadium access operations for matches and major events, including turnstiles, access control systems and car parks.
- Test and prepare all turnstiles and access readers ahead of every match and event, ensuring they are safe, operational and compliant.
- Manage the maintenance, programming and data uploads for access control and ticketing systems, keeping accurate records at all times.
- Program and issue access cards, season tickets, hospitality passes, memberships and car park permits.
- Prepare and deliver access maps and strategies in collaboration with the Safety Officer and Control Room.
- Provide live attendance and arrival reporting to the Control Room, in line with legal and operational requirements.
- Oversee the accreditation process for match days and events, including managing the Accreditation Hub and systems.
- Train, brief and deploy a team of Casual Fan Support Stewards, supporting recruitment where required
- Act as a key point of contact for supporters experiencing access or turnstile issues.
- Produce pre- and post-match reports, including attendance, resale, no-show and sales analysis.
- Manage relationships with system providers, ensuring access systems remain secure, compliant and fit for purpose.
- Support investigations into breaches of ground regulations or suspected criminal activity.
- Deliver access strategies for all non-football major events at Anfield, safely accommodating crowds of up to 60,000.
Who are we looking for?
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of ticketing, access control and accreditation systems.
- Working knowledge of turnstiles, access readers and PDA programming.
- Clear understanding of stadium access and egress routes.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities to tight timescales.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organised, detail-focused and confident in handling operational data and reporting.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn new systems.
- NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety (desirable but not essential).
This role is full time, 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7. Your main base will be Anfield Stadium.
