Automation Engineer – Trowbridge

Job Description

Salary: £46,142 – £48,226

Hours per week: 37 hours

Interview date: Monday 9 February 2026

ICT – Driving Technological Transformation

We are looking for an enthusiastic automation specialist who thrives on solving complex challenges, is committed to making a real impact, and is driven to shape and deliver the future of digital automation across our organisation.

The role will give you an opportunity to be hands-on with the latest cloud, automation, and AI technologies, from Azure, Foundry, and Copilot Studio, to the Power Platform and wider Microsoft 365 suite. You will design and build solutions using PowerShell and DevOps deployment pipelines, delivering everything from traditional workflows to advanced AI-powered automations.

Experience with scripting (PowerShell), cloud platforms (Azure), and automation tools is desirable, but we value curiosity and a willingness to learn above all. So, if you enjoy diving into new tech, figuring out how things work, and turning ideas into digital real-world solutions, you will fit right in. You will collaborate with the team, learn from others, and start contributing to live projects from day 1.

The role is hybrid spending around 50% of your time in the office, with the rest of your time spent working from home.
