About us:

 
King’s Business School (KBS) is seeking a highly organised, professional and motivated Senior Programme Officer to join our Executive Education team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract.
 

About the role:

 
The Senior Programme Officer (SPO) will provide high-quality logistical and administrative support for a suite of open enrolment and custom executive education short courses. Working with the Senior Delivery Manager and other key colleagues, the SPO will be responsible for providing a seamless, professional and efficient customer experience to everyone who interacts with KBS Executive Education via our programmes, including participants, Programmes Directors, external contributors and partners and wider colleagues. The SPO will ensure all aspects of a programme are in place, liaising with multiple stakeholders to do this in a timely and efficient way. They will lead on tasks to ensure participants have a positive experience of KBS.
 
Due to the nature of our courses, some evening and weekend work could be required for which time in lieu will be given. The role could also include some UK travel.
 
This is a full time post and you will be offered a fixed term contract until March 2027.

About you:

 
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
  1. Excellent attention to detail and record keeping
  2. Able to oversee own activities with a level of personal accountability
  3. Experience providing high-quality administrative and logistical support to short courses for executives or comparable learning activities
  4. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint, Forms and databases, Zoom/Teams and learning management systems such as Moodle
  5. Experience organising complex events to a professional standard including working with external venues
  6. A good understanding of what ensures excellent customer service in an executive education setting
  7. Clear and accurate communication skills both written and verbal
  8. Able to plan own workload, work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects, reprioritizing or adapting as necessary
  9. Able to form relationship and networks with key stakeholders to ensure an excellent customer experience
  10. A communicative, proactive member of teams with evidence of offering input, ideas and expertise to improve services and solve problems
 
Desirable criteria
  1. Experience in a programme delivery role at a Financial Times ranked business school
  2. Experience working with professionals and senior executives
  3. Experience working on custom executive education projects with a long-term client or partner organisation
