The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) is a Faculty of King’s College London and the largest academic community in Europe devoted to the study and prevention of mental illness and brain disease.
 
The School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences (MHaPS) is one of three schools under the IoPPN, comprised of the four departments of Psychology, Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP), Health Service & Population Research (HSPR), and Biostatistics & Health Informatics (BHI). With over 100 Principal Investigators, our research spans development from childhood to old age, encompassing basic research through to the development and implementation of treatments, services and policy.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional administrator to join the Professional Services team within the School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences (MHaPS) at King’s College London. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Operations Officer to offer essential administrative support within our HR & Finance Cluster.
 
The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Business Operations Officer (HR & Finance) and Senior Business Operations Manager (HR & Finance) to support our four departments. They will be part of a small, friendly, and dynamic team dedicated to enhancing collaboration between academics, researchers, and professional services across the School, Faculty, and University. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining and developing these relationships.
 
This role is ideal for candidates who excel at managing multiple priorities, have excellent attention to detail, and communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. Full training on our internal systems will be provided, enabling you to work independently and proactively. You’ll gain extensive experience in HR and Finance administration, with opportunities for personal development.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
 
Location: Primarily working from Denmark Hill Campus with occasional days at King’s other campuses.
