Job overview
The Stock Controller Assistant (Bank) position will have a pivotal role within the Material Management Department ensuring that physical resources are delivered to the right place right time. Provide a professional, customer focused Supply Chain service to all user departments. Professionally handle customer enquiries and work with internal and external customers to provide advice and support to their enquiries, ensuring their needs are responded to and met.
Main duties of the job
- Provide stock control, including stock rotation, and replenishment service for an agreed range of consumables used by customers and to support end users in accordance with HPL and Trust policies. Ensure safe disposal and/or relocation of surplus, redundant and obsolete stock
- Participate and assist in stock takes, year-end counts and amendments as required
- Assist the Receipt and Distribution team as required
- Undertaking any other tasks which are deemed appropriate by the Supervisors, Supply Chain Manager or Director of Procurement
